UPPSC PCS Pre Recruitment 2026 Syllabus
Selection Process
1. Preliminary Examination
The first stage is an objective-type screening examination. Candidates who qualify the prelims are shortlisted for the main written examination.
2. Main Written Examination
Candidates who clear the prelims have to appear in the mains exam. This stage is descriptive in nature and plays an important role in the final merit.
3. Interview / Personality Test
Candidates shortlisted after the mains examination are called for interview. This stage assesses personality, communication ability, awareness, and suitability for administrative roles.
4. Final Merit List
The final selection is made on the basis of mains marks and interview performance, subject to document verification and other eligibility conditions.
