परीक्षा पैटर्न
प्रारंभिक परीक्षा (Prelims)
- प्रकार: वस्तुनिष्ठ (OMR आधारित, ऑफलाइन)।
- पेपर: 1 पेपर (सामान्य अध्ययन)।
- प्रश्न: 150 प्रश्न (प्रत्येक 2 अंक, कुल 300 अंक)।

- नकारात्मक अंकन: 1/3 (0.33 अंक प्रति गलत उत्तर)।
- खंड: इतिहास, भूगोल, राजनीति, अर्थशास्त्र आदि।

- प्रकार: वर्णनात्मक (लिखित)।
- प्रश्न: 20 प्रश्न (10 लघु उत्तरीय, 10 दीर्घ उत्तरीय)।

- लघु उत्तरीय: 125 शब्द।
- दीर्घ उत्तरीय: 200 शब्द।
नोट: रिक्तियों की संख्या का लगभग 15 गुना उम्मीदवारों को मुख्य परीक्षा के लिए शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा।

महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश
- आवेदन से पहले सभी दस्तावेज (डिग्री, जाति प्रमाण पत्र आदि) तैयार रखें।
- विवाहित महिलाओं को अपने माता-पिता की जाति श्रेणी के तहत आवेदन करना होगा, न कि पति की।

विषय संयोजन स्पष्टीकरण
- सामाजिक विज्ञान: स्नातक में इतिहास, भूगोल, राजनीति विज्ञान, या अर्थशास्त्र में से कम से कम 2 विषय चुनें।
- अंग्रेजी: अंग्रेजी साहित्य में स्नातक (केवल विषय के रूप में नहीं, हिंदी/उर्दू के विपरीत)।
- हिंदी: स्नातक में हिंदी विषय + इंटरमीडिएट में संस्कृत।
- गणित/विज्ञान: संबंधित विषय में स्नातक।
