Overview

The Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has released a notification for the recruitment of 309 Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control) posts. The online application process is open from April 25, 2025, to May 24, 2025. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website: aai.aero.

The AAI is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure in India, including air traffic management and communication navigation surveillance services.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree of 3 years in Science (B.Sc) with Physics and Mathematics OR Full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any discipline (Physics & Mathematics should be subjects in any one of the semesters).
• Minimum proficiency in both spoken and written English at the 10+2 level (passed English as a subject in 10th or 12th standard).

Age Limit (as on May 24, 2025)

• Maximum Age: 27 years (born on or after May 25, 1998).
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (where post is identified suitable)
  • Ex-Servicemen: 5 years (after minimum 5 years of military service)
  • AAI Regular Employees: 10 years (post-probation)

Medical Fitness

Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards as per AAI guidelines.

Selection Process

• Computer-Based Test (CBT):
  • Part A (60 Marks): English, General Intelligence/Reasoning, General Aptitude/Numerical Ability, General Knowledge/Awareness.
  • Part B (60 Marks): Mathematics and Physics.
  • Duration: 120 minutes.
  • Negative Marking: None.
• Document Verification: For candidates shortlisted based on CBT performance.
• Medical Examination: To ensure compliance with AAI medical standards.
