Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Scientist ‘B’: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (Environmental, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, AI, CS, IT) or Master’s in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Microbiology. NET/Ph.D. preferred.
- Assistant Law Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) with 5 years of experience in judicial service or legal department.
- Senior Technical Supervisor: Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering with 3 years of experience.
- Senior Scientific Assistant: Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc) with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Supervisor: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering with 3 years of experience.
- Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree with typing speed of 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
- Accounts Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with 3 years of experience.
- Junior Translator: Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with diploma/certificate in translation.
- Senior Draughtsman: Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience.
- Junior Technician: ITI certificate in Electrician, Plumber, Fire & Safety, or Pump Operator trades.
- Senior Laboratory Assistant: 12th in Science with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Bachelor’s Degree with typing speed of 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
- Data Entry Operator (DEO) Grade-II: 12th pass with data entry speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
- Stenographer Grade-II: 12th pass with stenography speed of 80 wpm.
- Junior Laboratory Assistant: 12th in Science.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th pass with typing speed of 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
- Field Attendant: 10th pass.
- Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): 10th pass.
Age Limit (as on April 28, 2025)
- Scientist ‘B’: 18 to 35 years (born between April 29, 1990, and April 28, 2007).
- Assistant Law Officer, Senior Technical Supervisor, Senior Scientific Assistant, Technical Supervisor, Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Junior Translator, Senior Draughtsman: 18 to 30 years (born between April 29, 1995, and April 28, 2007).
- Other Posts: 18 to 27 years (born between April 29, 1998, and April 28, 2007).
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, Ex-Servicemen: as per norms, Widows/Divorced Women: up to 35-40 years, Departmental Candidates: up to 40-45 years.
Selection Process
- Scientist ‘B’: Written Exam (85% weightage) + Interview (15% weightage).
- Other Posts: Written Exam and/or Skill Test (e.g., typing, stenography, data entry speed test) as applicable.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR: 35%, EWS/OBC: 30%, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: 25%.
- Final Selection: Based on merit, document verification, and medical fitness.

Application Fee
- Two-Hour Exam (General/OBC/EWS): ₹1,000 (₹750 exam fee + ₹250 test session charge).
- One-Hour Exam (General/OBC/EWS): ₹500 (₹350 exam fee + ₹150 test session charge).
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women: Exempted from exam fee but must pay test session charge (₹250 for two-hour exam, ₹150 for one-hour exam).
- Payment Mode: Online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
