Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institution approved by AICTE.
Age Limit
21 to 37 years as of August 1, 2024. Age relaxation applies as per Bihar government rules.

Application Process
Applications must be submitted online through the official BPSC website. Follow these steps:

- Click on the "Apply Online" tab and select "New Registration."
- Register with your details and log in using your credentials.
- Fill out the BPSC AE application form and upload required documents.
- Pay the application fee (General/OBC: ₹750, SC/ST/PH: ₹200).
- Submit the form and download the confirmation receipt.
Exam Pattern
The BPSC AE written examination consists of six papers (four compulsory and two optional). Each paper is objective-type, carrying 100 marks.

Salary
Selected candidates will be entitled to a salary as per Pay Level 9 with a Grade Pay of ₹5400. The expected CTC ranges between ₹12-15 lakhs per annum, including allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Travel Allowance.
